Local report 2022 – A BRIEF REPORT ON HOUSE SWISSAIR
Children in the Swissair-family house: Girls 3, Boys 3
In the year 2022, several internal workshops were implemented at the program level in which all the children of house 4 participated.
Activities such as the creation of a garden in the yard of the house and a mural which was designed together with the children were carried out. Education, empathy, self-regulation and organization of the home have been encouraged.
On the other hand, the children participated in recreational activities such as going out to the movies, as well as celebrating holidays such as Christmas and Halloween, where they dressed up in costumes and enjoyed a party inside the Village.
In order to encourage integration into the community and share with other children, the participants of house 4 are part of the scout group of the Ñuñoa commune.
One of the most outstanding achievements of 2022 is that they were all promoted to the next school year.
Also, thanks to the intervention process carried out by the Village’s team and the work with the families, 2 children began a process of family reunification with the objective that they can return to live with their families, guaranteeing the care and protection of the children and thus reestablishing their right to live in a family.
Explanatory note: The house was moved due to the needs and urgencies of the locality for the program’s intervention.
